Frequently Asked Questions

Can you add an outlet without tearing into the wall?
Often yes — if there’s an existing outlet on the same wall and the run is short, we can fish a new one without major drywall damage.
Do I need GFCI in my bathroom?
Yes — current code requires GFCI within 6′ of any sink. Most older homes don’t have this and it’s a common upgrade.
What’s a smart dimmer worth?
Lutron Caseta and Leviton Decora Smart are great if you want app or voice control, scheduled dimming, or scenes. Otherwise a regular high-quality dimmer is fine.
How much does one outlet cost to add?
Depends on the run, but typical residential installs range from a low flat fee for a quick add to several hundred for a longer fish through a wall. We quote on the spot.
